Greetings everyone, welcome back to my blog! I love writing all of this stuff. It brings me so much joy, and what brings me more joy is now I have an audience reading my work, and coming into my world on Tuesday's. This week, we're actually going on a trip in my brain. Something that I've always wanted to do. This is at the top of my bucket list. I've always wanted to go to all 50 states. If you know me well, then you'd know that this is one of my current special interests, and I love to talk about states as much as I possibly can. Whenever someone asks me what states I've been to, I always get so excited to answer. To answer you if you don't know, I've been to 9 other states besides Michigan. These are..... Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, and Wisconsin! I know some really random facts about some states, like Michigan is the 10th most populated state in the US. Wow! There are some states in our country that are absolutely so random to me! A random state to me has one or both of these qualities: a small population, and hardly ever featured on the news or talked about. For example, Wyoming is the least populated state, and do you ever hear about it on the news? Do you ever hear people say that Wyoming is a state you must go to like they say about California, New York, Florida, etc? Exactly, you don't. Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, New Mexico, Nebraska, Iowa, Idaho, Arkansas, New Hampshire, Vermont, Delaware, West Virginia, and Maine also fit into this category in my opinion. Why? For the same reasons as Wyoming. My family says there are no such thing as random states, but I beg to differ. But I still want to go to all 50 states so badly. If you take me to any state I've never been to, my bags would be packed in seconds and we'd be out the door right away! What is your favorite state you've been too? What state do you want to go to the most? What states do you consider random? Let me know in the comments! Come back next week to see why sophomore year of high school was my favorite. See you then!

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog, and if you're new, then welcome! I hope you all liked my post from last week! I'm aware it was kinda basic but I'm just getting started so bear with me lol. I know I said that I'm not going to write my personal stories yet, but I meant with serious, heavy topics. I should've been more specific, so I'm sorry about that. Something that is a must to talk about during this time is the COVID pandemic. What have I been up to? How have I been handling this? Well, I'll tell you! First off, I have watched so many TV shows. I've spent way too much time watching TV. Schitt's Creek on Netflix is one of the shows I watched during quarantine, and let me tell you, it is the most amazing show, and it's so funny! My mom, my sister and I finished it in a month. We even bought the 6th season on YouTube since it isn't on Netflix yet because we couldn't wait! We were too excited! I'd be willing to watch it again. 10/10 would recommend. School has also been a huge part of my quarantine. I was taking a math class before this all happened, and I was doing amazing. Math is my worst subject, and always has been, so I was working my ass off to get good grades. When my in person instruction ended, I got so nervous that my grades would drop after this, but they didn't! I really liked how I got to work at my own pace with math online. My professor posted lectures on YouTube so I could watch them whenever I wanted, and I could pause them and go back to content if I needed to. I ended with a B in the class. I'm still so proud of myself, especially because math is my worst subject, and I took half of my class online. I really do miss in person instruction because I really like to be around other people so I don't feel lonely. I'm sure everyone else has felt lonely at some point during this pandemic. Right now I'm taking an online English class, which is going well. I would say English is my best subject. Of course, I have been able to see my family and friends during all of this, and I'm happy I still get to see them. Sometimes it's hard for me to handle all of this because it's so unpredictable and I need structure in my life so I don't become overwhelmed. Anyone who knows me knows I like to plan ahead, so this whole situation of not knowing what comes next is challenging. I keep telling myself "one day at a time". In my opinion, wearing a mask doesn't really matter when you're outside, but make sure to wear a mask when you go inside places so this won't spread anymore, and life can go back to normal! See you all next week!
Hi everyone!! This is my first blog post! I am really excited to share my stories with everyone. You're probably wondering why I chose "Embracing my Superpower" as my blog name. I chose this name because lots of people have told me that I'm a really good writer, and I'm good at expressing myself As time goes on, I will be posting more serious things, but my first few posts will be more light hearted, and about topics in general rather than my own personal story related to these topics. Of course, there is also facts about me that I would like to keep to myself and between the closest people in my life, which I will not be writing about. My post this week will be about why I chose to start a blog in the first place. I absolutely love to write about things I'm passionate about, and sometimes it can feel awkward for me to express myself over speaking, so writing is truly my outlet to get all those feelings out. This first post is kinda boring since it's just me explaining what this blog will look like, but I'm really looking forward to posting more things about myself as time goes on, however, I want to take it more slowly instead of jumping into things right away! Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have, and I'll also be taking topic requests as well, so you can also contact me to request topics that I should write about, since I'll eventually run out of ideas! I'm so excited for this blog! See you all next week!
